Fire brand MP Karuhanga, FDC’s Mwiru join Muntu’s ANT Party

Opposition firebrand Gerald Karuhanga, the Ntungamo Municipality MP has joined Rtd. Gen. Mugisha Muntu’s Alliance For National Transformation (ANT) party.

Karuhanga was received at the partry headquarters on Buganda Road yesterday.

Karuhanga, who has hitherto been an Independent was introduced by ANT alongside Jinja East MP Paul Mwiru who has been a member of FDC.

Muntu served as FDC President before quitting and setting up his ANT party. He recently expressed intentions to contest for the Presidency in the 2021 election.

Muntu said the arrival of Karuhanga and Mwiru is “just the beginning.”

He says ANT is a party for those with deeply rooted values” and are bold enough to speak truth to power.
