Former Makindye East Member of Parliament Michael Mabikke has revealed that this is the best time for four time presidential candidate, Dr Kiiza Besigye to realize that there are new kids on the block and they must appreciate it.

The Social Development Party president says this is not a way of writing off Besigye he has to retire gracefully. He says Besigye has done a significant contribution to the opposition but its time up for him.

“Our message to Col. Besigye is the same message to President Museveni,” says Mabikke adding that Besigye has also over dictated the opposition.

Mabikke says Besigye blundered when naming his recent ‘government.’

“The People’s Government excludes key players in the opposition like Bobi Wine, Nobert Mao and me (Mabikke),” he said.

However, the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding is going to take the opposition places according to Mabikke.

“When parties come together, they reach an understanding. We have reached that understanding and we have signed. The pact we have established is going to determine a way forward. We are aiming at a full integration of all pressure organizations under one umbrella,” he said.
