Since yesterday, rumours have been circulating on social media about the death of bush war general Kasirye Gwanga. This is to nullify all those rumours, as news coming in indicates that Gen Kasirye Ggwanga is still alive.

This morning, his family has come out refute all death rumours of the general, saying that although Kasirye is still alive, his condition is still critical and doctors are doing all they can to make sure he gets better.

Events Promoter Balaam Barugahara has also dispelled the rumours, saying, “Mzee Gen Kasirye Gwanga’s family has confirmed he is alive. Disregard all false information, keep praying for his healing.”

It should be remembered that Kasirye Ggwanga was admitted at Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Senior Officers Diagnostic Centre in Mbuya to receive specialized treatment from army doctors.

Over a week ago, the general was transferred to Nakasero hospital with high fever and difficulty in breathing and was immediately put on oxygen.
