People Power Movement leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has already announced himself as a presidential candidate come 2021. Bobi Wine says he will do whatever it takes to be on the presidential ballot paper in the forthcoming election.

“I will be in the presidential race and I want to assure change-loving Ugandans that we shall win this election,” said Bobi Wine while appearing on NBS TV this morning.

When asked if Dr Kizza Besigye also wants to give the presidential race a fifth try, Bobi Wine first admitted that Besigye has been a huge force in the opposition for a long time but times have changed.

He said the current youthful generation is in support of its own as they are the only people they see capable of solving their issues.

The presidential hopeful said President Museveni will be facing a generation and dynamics he has never faced before.

“This is close to a coup,” Bobi said.

On the issue of ‘scientific elections,’ Bobi said it is inappropriate as the media doesn’t effectively reach 30% of the population.

For this, he warned saying, “A bad election is more dangerous to Uganda than COVID-19. I am warning those old men not to mess us up. They are putting our country in danger.”
