On a rare note, the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has applauded opposition strongman Dr. Kizza Besigye for his continued sensatization of Ugandans in the fight against the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

While addressing the media at the NRM headquarters yesterday, , the party Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba stated that, Dr. Besigye has tried on various platforms to teach Ugandans to prepare remedies from easily accessible herbs to supplement government efforts in ensuring that Ugandans are safe.

“Right from the the beginning he (Besigye) is one member from the opposition who has encouraged and advised Ugandans as a professional on the issues of Covid-19,”Lumumba said.
