For the first time, the National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi has addressed party flag bearers who were declared winners in the recently concluded parliamentary elections.

Bobi Wine’s address comes a day after High Court ordered security agencies to vacate his home where they had camped for the past about 10 days.

Bobi Wine told the MP-elects on the NUP ticket that the regime, Museveni in specific is going to offer them ministerial positions in attempt to lure them to ‘his bed’ and compromise their integrity but they should not fall trap as they will have betrayed the people that voted them.

“I want to tell you that you were not elected to go and eat. You have been entrusted with a task which is “trust” and you should not betray it. Use your positions to advance the mission of the People Power Movement which is to remove Mr. Museveni from Power,” Bobi Wine stated.

He however added that they (MPs) should also expect hardships if they refuse the said persuasion. The presidential hopeful vowed how they are ready to reclaim their victory in their presidential race and in less than a year they will have ousted Museveni.
