The Guinness Matchday campaign is creating unforgettable moments for football fans across Uganda. Guinness has handed out two more tickets for an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the Premier League live, a dream come true for any football enthusiast.

After thrilling fans in Kampala by awarding two lucky winners, the campaign headed to Mbarara and Gulu this past weekend, where two more tickets were claimed. In Mbarara, it was Esther Nakala, while David Muzale emerged victorious in Gulu.

For Esther, the win was nothing short of magical. “I am so excited about winning this ticket! What started as a simple bet with my husband on an Arsenal game has turned into the opportunity of a lifetime. I can’t believe it!” she exclaimed, addressing revellers at Shooters Bar in Mbarara.

Interestingly, Esther wasn’t present when the announcement was made. Upon receiving the good-news call, she rushed to the venue, where she was met with cheers and congratulations.

Esther and David now join Kampala winners Jonan Kato and Diphas Kansiime on the exciting trip to the UK, where they’ll witness the iconic London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham on January 14, 2025.

“Guinness is all about adding a touch of magic to every matchday,” said Rogers Kasozi, Guinness Brand Manager. “We’re committed to meeting our consumers at their passion points, and as every die-hard football fan knows, watching a Premier League game live is the ultimate dream. So, why not make it happen by attending the Guinness Matchday?”

Kasozi emphasised that these experiences are made possible through Guinness’s partnership with the Premier League, which has brought fans closer to the action more than ever before. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “There’s so much more to come, so stay tuned!”

The Guinness Matchday campaign is redefining how fans experience football, creating unforgettable moments and bringing live match viewing closer to home. With more surprises in store, the excitement is far from over.
