The Minister of Works and Transport Gen Edward Katumba Wamala has ordered the suspension of a section of Uganda Airlines staff following a viral video of a man vending grasshoppers (Nsenene) onboard.

“I have spoken to the leadership of the airline to take action against the staff who were in charge when this happened,” said Katumba in a tweet.

On Friday, the video of the man shouting “It’s 10,000 shillings” went viral on social media. The yet-to-be-identified man was selling nsenene to seated passengers in the economy class on Uganda Airlines plane.
