When singer Lil’ Puzzle sang about beards and encouraged men to ditch grooming the male hair that sprouts from the chin, it seems he got a disciple in FUFA VC Denis Mbidde. Well, if this statement by Vipers SC boss and former FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa is anything to go by, then Denis Mbidde might be a stanch Lil’ Puzzle fan.

For starters Denis Mbidde maintains a bushy beard while Lawrence Mulindwa is clean-shaven.

Denis Mbidde has been quoted referring to former FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa as a “football leper”. He allegedly stated that Mulindwa failed to deliver in this regime as FUFA president.  Mbidde stated this ahead of the upcoming FUFA president elections after the former president hinted that he could re-consider the seat.

While speaking at his daughters’ graduation party held at St. Marys Stadium-Kitende gardens, Mulindwa made a satirical response to Denis Mbidde’s allegations. The Vipers SC CEO said, “I’ve been provoked, called all sorts of names to the extent of calling me a football leper but if I’m, and then what is Mbidde to football?Someone who can’t manage his own beard to call me a football leper is indeed an insult to my personality  and contribution to the game”.

Lets see how it goes.
