This weekend, Kampala’s ministers of enjoyment are in for a treat once again, as the world’s first luxury tequila, Don Julio, in partnership with premium hangout spot Mediterraneo, will host the second edition of the tequila sundowner this Sunday, September 27.
This second edition of the day-to-night sundowner is set to give guests a premium way to close out September while also letting them celebrate their favourite tequila cocktail, the Paloma, whose commemoration was on September 21.
Guests are set to ‘zep’ and enjoy the sundowner with entertainment from DJs led by the French DJ Phaphane, who will be joined by a lineup of Kampala’s finest DJs, including Don Julio influencers Sheilah Gashumba aka the Lil Stunner, and DJ Dash, among others.
Known for his Amapiano sets, Phaphane will anchor a music policy that spans AfroHouse, Gqom, private school and piano, to which guests will be dancing their shoes off.
Guests are encouraged to come with friends, dressed to the nines, with the evening’s highlight being Don Julio toasts in every form, from bottle service and cocktails to shots.
