Media personality Kasuku, real name Isaac Daniel Katende, has spoken out about reports that President Yoweri Museveni is set to appoint him as an ambassador.
Speaking in an interview on Sanyuka TV, Kasuku neither confirmed nor denied the reports. He, however, said that every opportunity that comes his way happens for a reason.
“I’m already in things and ready for even bigger ones. People are loving me, so those close to me should also be ready to be part of what’s coming,” Kasuku said.
He added that he is ready to take up any good opportunity that comes his way.
The reports about Kasuku’s possible appointment were first shared by NTV journalist Sudhir Byaruhanga.
“Credible sources indicate renowned media personality Kasuku could be headed for an ambassadorial role. More updates to come,” Sudhir posted on X.
Since then, the rumour has received mixed reactions online, with some people expressing excitement and congratulating Kasuku, while others question whether his personality suits such a high-profile role. An ambassador serves as a country’s official representative in another nation.
