On Saturday February 19, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Enid Kukunda’s daughter, Dr. Angela Nagasha Kakishozi introduced Gen. Henry Tumukunde’s son Amanya Tumukunde in a traditional marriage called kuhingira that was held in Lyantonde District.
While addressing the guests at her daughter’s kuhingira, Kukunda thanked Mzee for loving her.
“I want to thank Mzee. As you see me here, I am a very lucky person that across the country, I Enid, I am the one Mzee loved. He really loved me and I loved him back. I promised him one thing that even when he is in deep slumber, I will never let him down,” Kukunda said.
She also commented on Mzeei’s absence from the function.
“You might think that he’s not here but he is with us. I want to thank him for everything,” Kukunda stated.
Kukunda also narrated how Mzee gave her freedom and liberty.
“He gave me liberty and freedom and I have never abused it. He gave me the opportunity to do for my children everything they wanted,” she said.
