Apparently, one size doesn’t fit all! Members of Parliament on the HIV/Aids committee say that some Ugandan men are so well endowed that the condoms on the market and those distributed free of charge to help combat the spread of the virus are too small for them.

According to MP Tom Alero Aza, “some men have bigger sexual organs and therefore should be considered for bigger condoms.”

The MP who represents West Moyo County in Parliament is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on HIV/Aids and says his statement is a result of findings from a recent tour in areas that are highly affected by the virus.

“When they are having a sexual activity, of course with the pressure, the condom bursts,” Aza told journalists.

“Some youth are complaining that the condoms they are given, are too short, their organs can’t fit in them,” said Mbarara Municipality MP Merard Bitekyerezo.
