Last week on Friday, the ‘whistle blowing’ Members of Parliament that included; Lwemiyaga County MP Theodore Sekikubo, Kumi Woman MP Monica Amoding, Kalungu West MP Joseph Ssewungu and Ntungamo Municipality MP Gerald Karuhanga told the media that each of the 317 NRM MPs will receive a total of Shs100 million.

Firstly, Shs40 million for all the MPs who previously supported the lifting of the age limit. Another Shs60 million will reportedly be paid later to the MPs to block the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Bill which is meant to provide midterm access to contributors before their mandatory retirement age.

NRM Caucus spokesperson Margaret Muhanga has today responded to the allegations saying that the party is preparing to ask Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to refer the MPs who leaked information to Rules Committee for disciplinary action.
