Cranes to battle Zambia today before facing Congo Brazzaville

Venue: Namboole stadium at 4pm

Today’s match will be the last test for Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his players as they look forward for Saturday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.

Earlier today, the Cranes camp was boosted by Miya Farouk and Goalkeeper Denis Onyango’s arrival from their respective professional clubs. After yesterday’s training session at Namboole, Coach Micho dropped eight local players including; Denis Okot Oola, Richard Kassaga Jjuuko, Halid Lwaliwa, Keziron Kizito, Erisa Ssekisambu, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Allan Kayiwa and Shafik Kagimu.

The so far confirmed players at Sky hotel include; Ismail Watenga, Robert Odongkara, Benjamin Ochan, Nicholas Wadada, Joseph Nsubuga, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, Joseph Ochaya, Tonny Mawejje, Moses Oloya, Yunus Sentamu, Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, Geoffrey Serunkuma, Derrick Nsibambi,Dennis Iguma, Godfrey Walusimbi, Isaac Isinde, Yassar Mugerwa, Shafiq Batambuze, William Luwagga Kizito,  Geoffrey Massa and Khalid Aucho, Awanyi Timothy , Muzamil Mutyaba,  Saddam Juma and Vitalis Tabu Abdul Malik.
