Former Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has taken on a new role as the head coach of the Libya national senior football team. He is replacing Salem Al-Jalali, who has been serving as interim coach for the past few months.

Micho, also known as the ‘Serbian Wolf,’ has signed a two-year contract with the North African nation.

This appointment comes just a month after Micho was sacked from his position as the Uganda Cranes head coach. He was let go after failing to lead the team to the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, which was scheduled to be held in Ivory Coast.
