Media personality and digital influencer Sheilah Gashumba has officially stepped into the DJ booth, debuting her career under the stage name DJ Lil Stunner. At 29, Sheilah is bringing her energy and passion for African music to dance floors across the continent—and beyond.

A household name since childhood, Sheilah began her media journey at just eight years old. Over the years, she’s become one of the most recognizable figures, known for her high-profile brand partnerships, and presence on TV, radio, and social media.

Her DJ journey began during the COVID-19 lockdown, when she took one-on-one lessons with DJ Ediwizzy Selekta. Determined to hone her craft, she later enrolled at RISE Academy in Johannesburg—one of Africa’s premier DJ schools—in 2024. Balancing a packed professional schedule, Sheilah immersed herself in both the technical and creative aspects of DJing.
