Kampala’s party animals had the perfect way to bid the month of April farewell at the Don Julio- sponsored monthly Daycation event, at Silo 15.
As usual, the Daycation delivered an effortless blend of great music and pure good energy, as guests revelled in the upbeat lifestyle social event.
The afternoon was curated for those who appreciate the finer things in life. The crowd was as stylish as always, dressed in chic linen outfits, beautiful jewellery, and statement shades, all basking in the easy, glamorous vibe that only a venue like Silo could offer.
The cocktail experience deserves its own moment of applause. Don Julio was the choice of drink for the day with expertly crafted margaritas, palomas, and smooth tequila-based signatures fuelling the afternoon’s high spirits.
Adding to the indulgent atmosphere was an impressive buffet spread, that left no craving unattended. Guests were treated to a colourful array of delicacies, from perfectly grilled meats and fresh seafood, to vibrant salads, artisanal breads, and decadent desserts.
It was clear that just as much thought had gone into the culinary experience, so did the cocktails and music, making Daycation a true feast for all the senses.
Melvyn DJ set the vibe early, spinning a feel-good mix that had everyone nodding along as they sipped and socialized. DJ Anselm took it up a notch, layering in infectious beats that pulled people to their feet, while Selector Jay closed out the evening on a high, seamlessly blending classics with modern hits.

With great music, beautiful aesthetics, and world-class cocktails, we wanted to give Kampala something truly special and the April edition was exactly that,” said Simon Lapyem Innovations Manager, UBL.
