Former Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe has dismissed allegations that she left her marriage with her ex-husband’s property after their breakup.
Reports had earlier claimed that Nantumbwe cleared out her then husband Saidi Bukenya’s home when their relationship ended.
However, the former beauty queen has strongly rejected the accusations, saying they are false and aimed at damaging her reputation.
To counter the claims, Nantumbwe shared video footage recorded on the day she moved out, showing a tour of the house with all household items still in place.
In the video, she moves through different rooms, pointing out that nothing had been taken from the home. She insists she only left with her personal belongings, including her bags and her car.
The allegations about Nantumbwe’s marriage gained attention after Senior Presidential Advisor and Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit Edith Nakalema commented on the matter, confirming that the marriage had ended shortly after it began and alleging that the former Miss Uganda left with some household items.
Nantumbwe, however, maintains that the claims are malicious and intended to tarnish her image, insisting she left the relationship without taking anything that did not belong to her.
