Ugandan socialite cum entrepreneur Zari Hassan has come out to caution women to avoid dating broken men.

According to a post she shared on her official Facebook page, Zari believes that trying to fix a broken man is nothing but chaff in the wind.

“He is just broken; I think I can fix him. Sis, he’s got 8 other women trying to fix him. Don’t be part of the construction crew. Some situations don’t require faith, hope, or patience but common sense,” Zari explained.

The mother of five who looks barely over 20 was married to the late Ivan Ssemwaga for close to 12 years. The two met when Zari moved to South Africa after staying in the United Kingdom. Their marriage was relatively low-key, and Ivan continued to keep it that way even after Zari left.

In 2011, the two had a lavish traditional wedding whose total expense was alleged to cost billions of Ugandan shillings and the two had three kids together.

Zari Hassan is also among the many ladies who have dated the Tanzanian and celebrated ‘bongo flavor singer, Naseeba popularly known by his stage name as Diamond Platnumz and two have two kids together but are currently separated and only co-parenting.
