Singer Eddy Kenzo has revealed that he and the new Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development, Phiona Nyamutoro, are more than friends; they are lovers who even have a child together.

While performing at Comedy Store on Wednesday, Kenzo briefly paused his performance and told his fans how the minister had sent greetings to them before referring to her as his personal person.

“She’s more than a friend. We have a kid together,” Kenzo said amidst loud ululation from the audience.

Last month, while appearing on a local television, Kenzo revealed that his daughters Maya and Aamal are not his only children and that he has a son and another daughter somewhere. He did not reveal the mother, but according to his own revelations, Nyamutoro is the mother of one of the kids.

Our sources confirm that the two have been dating for close to two years, and the singer has been very present since the child was born.

Last year, Nyamutoro, a national female youth MP and one of the youngest ministers, was asked about her relationship with the singer, and she claimed that they are just friends and have known each other for a long time.

“I can’t confirm that Eddy Kenzo is my boyfriend, but I know him. I’ve known him for a very long time, even before I became a member of parliament,” she said.
