Legendary Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi says she could never walk away from music because it’s more than a job to her – it’s her life and calling.

In a recent interview, Juliana explained that while many see music as a career or business, she sees it differently.

“I was born to sing,” she said. “So it’s hard for me to wake up one morning and say I’m quitting music. I can’t do that because I live and breathe music.”

Juliana admitted that music can be work, but her passion goes far beyond money. She added that even if she explores other projects in the future, singing will always be part of who she is.

The award-winning vocalist has been in the industry for over 25 years. She started her professional music career in 1998 and became a household name in the early 2000s.

Some of her biggest hits include Kibaluma, Nabikoowa, Oli Wa Maanyi, Kantambule Naawe, Toba Nakutya, Sanyu Lyange, and I’m Still Here.
