A security guard attached to Ryayo Security Group Ltd. has shot dead two of his colleagues before killing himself. The incident happened last evening at around 9 p.m. at Shumuk Aluminium Ltd., Nakawa Division.

Preliminary police findings indicate that a security guard, Machugayi Emmanuel, accessed a firearm from a colleague and, without provocation, shot two fellow security guards: Kakyebezi Ashiraf, aged 21 years, and Owechi Stephen.

Following the attack, the suspect retreated and later turned the gun on himself after reportedly realizing he was surrounded by security forces.
